What would be "illegal" about discussing industry practices and answering questions that individuals might have?

I can't speak for everyone, but I personally never discuss (a) individual stocks or (b) recommend or otherwise discuss the worthiness - positive or negative - of specific brokerage firms - whether they're wholesalers, retail brokerages, wirehouses, etc. Simply don't do it.

So, it has nothing to do with individual issues, and nothing to do with promoting certain firms or venues of business. All it's about is sharing knowledge, dispelling myths, and generally having a good time.

I'm by nature a skeptic, so I can see where you might have doubts, but, that's all there is to it. Well...that and discussing pro boxing on my thread.

I must admit that when it comes to that topic, I make my personal favorites and dislikes widely known.

:)

I question all of your presence...

... here as alleged professional 'market makers'.

Find it highly suspect.

I don't think anyone cares very much about your opinion. But then I guess every board is entitled to its Loudmouthed Jerk.
