Wednesday JDS Uniphase Corp. (JDSU) advanced 5 3/4 to 135 7/8. It reported better than expected earnings that topped consensus Street estimates. Tape Action - Very Bullish. JDSU shows the highest up tick volume in more than six months as volume expands sharply. The stock is stretched having advanced sharply the past two weeks. However, TTD sees good potential for JDSU to work higher. Tuesday Sun Microsystems Inc. (SUNW) advanced 8 1/2 to 109 and hit a new high. Tape Action - Neutral. SUNW moves up on expanding volume to follow through on its recent breakout. The stock showed modest up tick volume. It is now in an up trend. ADC Telecom (ADCT) gained 3 1/4 to 45 5/8. No news. The stock was recently featured by TTD. Tape Action - Modestly Bullish. ADCT moves higher with good up tick volume and expanding volume. The stock is in a solid up trend. Monday Ciena Corp. (CIEN) moved up 6 1/4 to 162. No news. Tape Action - Neutral. CIEN is in a basing pattern, but showing a sequence of distribution days. TTD does not see much upside at present. tickertapedigest.com
