Are you suggesting that the company has to, ahem, Remedy the situation? :)

I wish I knew more about the company, but it sounds to me like the sales folks aren't making any money because the products they have to sell are either being beaten by the competitor(s) or are simply not in demand.

Blaming the sales force, in any form or manner, is a sign of denial, almost every time.
