You are right, I am not laughing.

It is grim business indeed when more than 80% of the individuals who occupy today's federal prisons would have been considered good citizens less than 100 years ago. It is doubly grim when one considers the largest criminal element in our society (from a Constitutional standpoint) are members of our own government.
