wxdude,
I'm not much of a poster, but on one of the other sites I got my a$$ handed to me for being a bear in April. I'll try again.

I see many charts at the verge of tipping over. I am no good at catching falling knives. Why not either A: be short or B: watch until some kind of sure bottom has been found? Not taking a a position is actually making a decision about the market, isn't it?

One doesn't have to be invested at all times, do they? When we feel that way, we feel that we must buy something because we have cash on hand, but we truly don't!

Cash ain't bad, it will pay for Old Milwaukee and golf:)

Jeff Roberts

PS: selective buying the right issues will pay off in any kind of market.
