Mr. Ollila may well loose his job over this. It is up to a CEO to assemble a mutually complementary management team that includes a visionary persin, even if it is not the CEO himself. He appears to have failed. He has devoted himself to being a CDMA obstructionist for a whole year after ERICY say the light.

I wouldn't say that GSM is dead. If the introduction of 3G in Europe is delayed, as it appears might happen, and the cabal is successful in keeping Q out of Europe despite the spin off, NOK will have a good market for replacement sets in Europe for a few years. It will also have an excellent market in China for basic 2G sets.

Who knows what other rabbits it might pull out of its hat, especially with IDCC doing a lot of its 3G work for it? <vbg>

Completely agree Ramsey and I was certain it was coming soon. The writing was on the wall.
