Will Rodgers..... also commented about the U.S. Govts attempts to make treaties with the American Indians was very difficult because the only time frame the Indians were interested in was "As long as the Grass shall grow and Rivers shall flow" & boundries needed to be Rivers, or Mountains.... where the Govt was all into 'dates' and latitudes, etc. So according to Rodgers:

"So the government put them where there were no rivers and was no grass"
