It would appear that if (once) LU gets its act together, there's a chance for appreciation in the LU price as well as getting the spinoff shares. Do you have a differing view? In optics, getting one's act together is harder than most realize. I'm told if you miss a product cycle --- as LU did with their OC-192-level products --- the only way to catch up is to leap-frog into the next cycle. If you believe LU can do this and regain the confidence of the Street, then, yes, they're a bargain here. I'm not a McGinn fan so will probably not nibble. Pat
