Agree with your posts Michael Happel. Averaging up is an alternative to averaging down. Either way you won't necessarily catch the bottom, but at least you will be in an uptrend.

-g-. OT. Okay, M. Happel. So what I read as a blanket statement "Don't invest what you can't afford to lose!!!" actually either only applies to the poster to whom you addressed it or to only a partial number of people (who fit along one side of the continuum of risk seeking - risk averse people).
