Wash Sales & IRAs - So far I have two opposing opinions. Can either of you supply links to support your opinion? I am surprised this strategy isn't readily discussed.

IMO, if we were talking strictly IRA, we definitely know there is no wash rule, therefore I must side with Vibaby. I would just like to see it addressed in print somewhere.

ok you convinced me the only section that applied was the related account rule that uses a "reasonable amount of time" clause. which, if read aggresivly, might mean one day! So best might be to wait one day between transactions. BTW thanks for the heads up!!
