OXY may - finally!! - have put in a bottom.

From Monday through Wedn. trading followed a pattern: up early, sometimes nicely, but waves of selling would push it to new lows, with partial recoveries at the end of the day.

It looked like many traders were interested but were watching for a bottom.

This morning, there was the usual surge; there has been sustained buying in the narrow range 19 - 19 3/16; and it APPEARS as if sellers might finally be exhausted. If today's gains hold through the close, I would predict a nice move tomorrow.

Disclosure: OXY is my biggest holding. (And I lied; I couldn't resist buying more below 19.)
