OT - JHP, well - let me tell you my take. Firstly I didn't always agree with LG. I also thought the thread was rather cliquish. However, I also realised the thread was concise, full of information, full of good humour, detailed in that opinions were encouraged to provide some technical reasons/charts (albeit any personally developed system was taken at face value). Now, that may not suit everybody, and anyone can set-up a thread & do what they want with it. But no ... everyone wants to be on a 'hot thread' ... not only that, they want it without moderation that they don't agree with. Being so full of self-importance, various posters are SOOOO indignant that they sacrifice the bigger benefit because they don't agree with the moderator's attitude. Well scr*w that ... this thread is a shadow of what it was - and it just confirms my opinion that most Americans have more attitude than intelligence. And as for SI admin - worthless bunch of crp imho.
