Bryan I don't think you understand what we are all talking about! We are talking about the Hot Subject list that is on the toolbar not the one on the Homepage. Until SI rolled out the new data base about 4 weeks ago it included the Coffee Shop threads. What we are looking for is a option located in this area that includes a Hot List of Coffee Talk Threads: siliconinvestor.com I could care less what is done with the homepage or the stocktalk page for that manner. I just want a link back at the top of SI pages (Toolbar) again that include a Hot Coffee list whether included in the Hot Subject list or Separate. For clarification purposes the Hot List on the toolbar included Coffee House Threads until just the last 4 weeks or so! You are correct they did take it out in April. We told John Busby and it was immediately but back in. It didn't disappear again until you introduced the new data base. This is why all the complaints now and not earlier.

Bryan, Right now there is a Hot Subjects link that shows up on our subjectmarks and messages pages, the one almost right under the SI mail link. That's the one everyone is concerned about. ( If I may presume to speak for others ) Up until about the time of the database "migration" that hot list still included the coffee shop threads. Now ( last time I looked anyway ) it does not include the coffee shop. So this is a recent change, and that's why all the fuss now ( not in April ). The controversy is not about what you do on the SI Home page, most of us hardly look at it. I only look at it once a day, when I sign in in the AM. We want the coffee shop hot subjects back on the pages we use all the time. This is probably a small thing to get so worked up about, but it's just another small thing in a long list of small things that have been annoyances. [ Ha! Cisco types faster than I do!]
