Not surprising, Joe, given the present jitters. XYZ Corp could announce their alchemy division is successfully turning water into wine and lead into gold and the market would hack it to pieces. Very few confident short term buys right now. That will all change before too long, imo, but fighting the tape is the surest way to end up with a small fortune.....after starting with a large one!--MK--

Joe Smith: I think CREE sold off in sympathy with NOK since its products are used primarily in wireless hand-held devices. Similar sell-off was seen in chip stocks which are also closely associated with the wireless sector: TXN, ADI, IDTI, ATML, ANAD. Keep your eyes on these stocks -- they will be exceptional buys in late August, IMO.
