The Wall Street Transcript Publishes Money Manager Comments on Network Appliance
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 2000--Anthony Sellitto, senior vice president of Berger Funds, examines portfolio management strategies in this timely and deeply informative 2,500-word interview from The Wall Street Transcript (212/952-7433) or twst.com.

In a valuable review of investing strategies, Sellitto explains his approach to managing money and offers specific stock recommendations.

Sellitto states, ``I focus on large cap stocks. I'm looking for companies that have great long-term prospects for growth on the top and bottom line, companies that are market share leaders that we think can sustain their leadership position, or who are taking market share. We also like to invest in companies in industries that are growing rapidly. Additionally, we are looking for those companies that have particularly strong managements that can execute on their strategy. Finally, we want our companies to have stable or expanding margins.''

Sellitto highlights Network Appliance (Nasdaq:NTAP - news). ``We saw an opportunity with the data storage market, particularly the network attached storage market, where Network Appliance plays. We were very constructive on that market when it was somewhat out of favor. We did a lot of work on whether network attached storage was going to be a large market, and we also explored the size of the caching opportunity. Both of these products have continued to pan out very well for the company as their top-line growth has accelerated.''

Nah,

they bring it back tomorrow and 3700 should be the low.

This is what the Bears and eternal negative thinkers don't understand. WHAT YOU ARE WITNESSING IS NO MORE THAN " THE STOCK MARKET " FOR GOD'S SAKE. IT IS THE WAY IT WORKS. IT IS NOT SOME DEMON THAT IS TRYING TO SUCK THE LIFE OUT OF YOU AND YOUR FIRST BORN. GEEZ!

Buy these bottoms and live a good life in the Fall. I have been buying for the Fall and nothing else matters to me. Anyone that can't see this is a fool. The Houses love this crap. I DON'T BUY IT.

BUY, BUY, BUY and you won't regret it.

I bought ELON and RMBS yesterday and I will buy both tomorrow and come the end of the year I will be laughing.

People must buy at least Jan. options and just pile them on. I have money on the side and could not give a Rat's ass.

Got rid of my NTAP calls on Tuesday bit the bullet on my gamble yesterday.

This capsule will end labor day.

It is an idiot that does not take advantage of this sell off. Now if you want to run scared, I am probably not the one you want to have dinner with.

Tell the Houses to kiss my Ass for even when it is exposed, half is always COVERED.

FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO LAY YOUR FEAR ON BECAUSE VOLTAIRE REFUSES TO LISTEN.

STILL ENJOYING THE STRESS FREE LIFE. WRITE CALLS AND COME JOIN ME. JUST GOT OFF GOLF COURSE WITH CANDIDE AND COULDN'T CARE LESS.

SELAH,

V

For what it is worth, I still consider this an opportunity just as certain writer of note might. This is in my billfold at all times and whether the market is up or down and I recall every word.

OPPORTUNITY

There is a tide in the affairs of men,
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat;
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

William Shakespeare

From Julius Caesar
