I think we are just experienceing the normal schizophrenic behavior of the market. In March, we had irrational exhuberance, and now we are witnessing irrational inexhuberance. The pendulum of the market will hopefully turn the other way soon. As for the overall market and interest rates, this is the one sector which will have increasing profits for the forseeable future, unlike the slowdown in priofits we are seeing in many of the S&P. When people rush back headlong into technology, they will want(demand) profitability, and that is where the companies in this sector should excel for at least the next 18 months. BK
