I'm not sure where "here" is but I'm sorry to say, it is a slow poison (I feel really, really bad about that). The objective is to load their little ant bodies (that's not a pun of antibodies). The boric acid induces polymerization in their gaskets which then get rigid and break. Little falling apart ant carcasses everywhere. Persistence and chronic exposure (for them) is good (for you).
