Niceguy,

How do you arrive at your earnings estimates for Q3 and Q4? I'm trying to use the sales numbers that AMD is projecting.

Pravin.

I do not get it, are you assuming that AMD profits would double each q? That is equivalent to an annual profit growth rate of 1500%. I am also optimistic about amd but I think that is way too much optimism.

Niceguy - RE: "My current Y2000 earnings prediction is $9.00 after tax and before including gains on sale of Communications Division..."

Are you sure you have your calculations correct? You are projecting AMD to earn $1.5B AFTER tax this year.

Maybe you misplaced the decimal in one of your calculations.
