I think that the divergence between the Dow and the Naz is of the "flight to quality" type (the 10 year bond made a three months new high with rates dipping under 6%) divergence, that does not happen at the end of a decline, at the end, the baby and the wash water are thrown together and you get extreme pessimism and actual fear. I saw no fear. The spreads did not become particularly large, and there ample dipsters in the market, standing in front of that freight train. Hey, I did a little of that myself, expecting here and there few dipsters induced bumps. I got away with one, when I tried it again, I got smacked (EXDS).
