I should have known from my own experience, that the AMD chip can not fess-up to any INTC products. The "AMD" chip
computer is not working as well as the "Celeron" INTC chip
computer.


I don't think either AMAT's or AMDs recent declines have anything to do with the performance of their products, or even there financial performance. Both companies are doing excelent in both areas. The problem is that people are scared that we are nearing the end of a semi-conductor cycle and want to get out first.
OT
The celeron really isn't competitive with either the Athlon or the Duron from AMD in term of speed. Intel can however make a lot of celerons.
