Let's see... PayPal on one hand and the WSJ article on the other. Who's more credible?

Let's reason it out. We can pretty well guess that the site in Russia is a scam. And perhaps the "real" PayPal is legitimate (ignorance on my part; not intended as a suggestion that PayPal may be something else).

As long as you're not clicking on some link where you have to determine if that character is a letter "l" or a number "1", go for it.

Of course, I have no need of PayPal's services, so I'll just ignore it and avoid the problem altogether. <g>

I've used PayPal to pay for Ebay auctions. And I recently received a $5 credit for referring someone. No scam, as long as the site name is spelled correctly.
