Hi all; Interesting thought from Semico re PC133 and PC600...

Application benchmarks abound, comparing the performance of PC133 and 800 MHz Direct Rambus. But, what effect has PC133 had on demand for 600 MHz Direct Rambus? Is the price of 800MHz Direct Rambus impacted by the lack of PC demand for 600 MHz parts?

If PC800 isn't as fast as PC133, what does that say about PC700 and PC600? Wouldn't you think that someone would have to be a total mind numbed moron to purchase a machine with RDRAM slower than PC800? PC600 is way more expensive than PC133, and even Samsung says that their bin split on RDRAM isn't much better than 50% for PC800.

Stuart> I'm not selling and I'm not buying. I plan to see the results of the P4 with Rambus..

Not a very bullish confirmation??? Levels of doubt seem to be rising???

Hi Stuart Steele; Just one year ago, you wrote: "I'm not selling and I'm not buying. I plan to see the results of the P4 with Rambus"

It's pretty well known that you were a wealthy person and that you put a lot of money on RMBS.

Now, the stock is way down, and you say you're still holding: #reply-16029297 . Does the phrase "a fool and his money are soon parted" have any resonance for you? Would you like me to look back through the thread for the unkind things you said about me?

A lot of the losers around here thought that since you were rich, you must know what you were doing, money wise. Have any of them asked you to help pay back the losses they took by following you into this fiasco? If I were a wealthy guy I don't think I'd be using my real name on a thread and handing out free financial advice on highly volatile stocks. Especially if I owned so many shares that I had to file with the SEC. It just doesn't seem safe. Maybe that's an indication you're not too smart. I guess you were pretty sure that you were giving good advice, and that you were going to become a billionaire.

I've noticed that the stock trades a lot fewer shares now than it did a year ago. How many days would it take you to get out? What would that do to the price?

P.S. This country will always have a place for less than brilliant rich guys. In fact, the local Safeway was advertising for bag boys the other day.
