Thanks, WUWT. Yes, Lucent is a tough lesson. I'm still holding nearly every share. . . and it just keeps dropping. [Almost beginning to wish someone like Nortel would just come along and buy them out. They could do it, though it would be difficult to digest.] The sad part is that Lucent's earnings report was exceptional. It went down like this. . . . "Mom. . Dad. . .I washed the car, cleaned my room, got my first paycheck, swept the garage, flunked my English mid-term, trimmed the hedges, ran the weed-eater, mowed the yard, mowed the neighbors yard. . .
