MacArthur is not remembered kindly among many Filipinos. Some of the blame deposited on him is perhaps unjust (many locals of nationalistic bent hold a distinct prejudice against him based on his father's role in the suppression of the Philippine independence movement), but a good deal of it is well placed. The Philippines suffered hugely during the American re-occupation; many believe that if Nimitz had prevailed and the country had been bypassed in favor of the island-hopping strategy, much damage and many lives would have been saved. For MacArthur, of course, the high drama of "I have returned" was far more important than Filipino - or American - lives.

I'm glad I made you get off your fat ass and do a little work. The whole bit about PT boats and McArthur, was in reference to the movie, Dufus. To stay on topic, I used the movie version of taking him away from the Phillipines. You are so stupid, you couldn't follow the train of thought that was in process at the time. Why don't you go find some privates you can, verbally, abuse as you did before because of your imbedded insecurity in your leadership ability. Why don't you go back to the mental hospital, where the orderlies had to drag you across the floor to the bathroom to keep you from defecating in your own bed. Why don't you go back to the self medicating you were so proud of. This time, I would suggest cyanide. Your nothing more than a failure in life, trying to make yourself look big in the eyes of those on the internet, that can't see what a pitiful wretch you really are.
