Scumbria:

Close enough. I don't see this going down much more, if at all. There are only so many suckers out there wanting to sell at the bottom

These "after-earning happenings": LSI, NOK seem to relate last years revenues and stock price with todays earnings and stock price.
This is logical isn't it. I hope that they don't apply this logic to AMD (twice last years revenue => twice last years stock price....)
The Institutions won't but they will be happy to buy any "s#ckers" shares. (We as well don't we...)

Don't want to scare you :^)

Regards Hans.

Scumbria,

<I don't see this going down much more, if at all.>

I felt that way at 80 and clearly that is more true now but who knows.....

<There are only so many suckers out there wanting to sell at the bottom.>

Look at the volume today. Quite a few suckers, eh? The question is is this the center of sucker distribution or the tail?

This company expects to earn about a Billion dollars in profit this year and is valued at $10B. Athlon effect on ASPs is just now kicking in. To top it off, Sledgehammer is due in 2001 and Intel doesn't have much to compete until 2002.

I continue to be amazed how irrational this market can be.
