Can we expect a Q3 warning on profits from Intel tomorrow?

Live by the capital gains profit sword, die by the capital loss sword.

Any chance for Intel to make a break-even quarter if the market stays down?

It must be time for a little guidance for the analysts.

This may not bode well for Intel today...

"Despite a slowdown in corporate PC sales that weighed on the company's revenue growth in fiscal 2000, Microsoft executives said that business still has strong potential.....
Although he agreed with recent industry forecasts showing a continued slowdown in PC sales, Connors said the PC desktop generates roughly $17 billion in annual sales for Microsoft."

CNN is putting a concerned spin on the story, tying the comments to slowing growth for MSFT...it may impact AMD as well.
