>>Can we expect a Q3 warning on profits from Intel tomorrow?

Live by the capital gains profit sword, die by the capital loss sword.

Any chance for Intel to make a break-even quarter if the market stays down?

It must be time for a little guidance for the analysts.<<

Blah, blah, blah. That $70 AMD stock price really has your shorts tied in a knot, eh?

RE: Can we expect a Q3 warning on profits from Intel tomorrow?

Doubtful. With information showing that there were > 15 Million CuMines produced at the Az Fab last quarter, AND since the Israel Fab wasn't far behind the Az ramp, AND the upcoming intro of Willy and Itanium......

Your "wish", is NOBODY'S Command.....

Dear Dan, Seems that a downward Q3 change is no more that yet another wistful wish of an AMD Dreamer. Did you catch the article at Cnet? Intel will be selling from its old obsolete P6 core the 1.13 GHz P 3 come Monday, available from IBM and DELL. Golly, Dan, I’m sure AMD would love nothing better than to trump the 1.13 GHz but their best shot is only 1.1 due 8/29. I guess that their copper process isn’t worth its weight, well, in copper.
