here is how this earning's release could have looked and sounded on the numbers side... 'Excluding contributions from our LAN switching business which we are exiting, revenues were $72 million this Q compared with $26 million in the same Q a year ago, and versus $55 million in the Q ending March 31, 2000'... though i am simply guessing at the numbers i know i am in the ballpark with these...and at least this way our strong sequential and year-over-year growth can be made clear to the street... if they just could have included a simple statement like this they could have avoided all the revenue confusion for the 2nd Q in a row...would someone please pass this post along to diana at mrv so that we can avoid confusion in the future... though we should be viewed as a non-operational company, since we haven't spun anything out just yet, people want to have their hand held as they are shown in a simplisitic way just how fast certain components of the overall business are growing... so now it is up to Chet to do his work... spin it right my man, spin it right... steve
