The Yugoslavian national forces tied down 41 NAZI
divisions during WWII so I guess since they only
have 6 NATO divisions tied down, they can consider
it "progress".

In my opinion, it looks like the end of WWI to me.
Several Empires have crumbled (Soviet, Yugolsavian)
and you have the current equivalent of Woodrow Wilson
(Clinton/Blair) going on about "new beginings" and
"cooperation" under NATO (note how the political
machine is now military, unlike Wilson's League of
Nations). Its funny how the backroom deals are going
down all over the planet. Clinton has been quite
"Machiavellian" in his foreign policy. I don't think
the peace will hold.
