Rande, You have made many good and interesting arguments. Someone characterized this debate over intellectual property on the Internet as a religious war. I think that is an apt description. And you are right, sweeping generalizations do not make for good debate. I have read and reread your points and concluded it will take someone with the wisdom of Solomon to resolve the issue quickly and fairly. In the meantime, we can hope the lawyers and judges do their best.
