If Rambus did for OKI what they did for everyone else, they purchased that press release with between 50 million and several hundred million dollars worth of warrants and/or options.

Since OKI doesn't produce any significant quantities of memory covered under the agreement, there was no legitimate reason for such an action.

Rambus is looking more and more like an outright pyramid scheme style swindle.

Given that the stock was diluted by the payments to OKI, you may now be owning a $70 stock with 12 cents per share earnings instead of 16 cents.
