Serono seems to be the biotech part of Ares/Serono, italian company. They have products, in the US they focus is a growth hormone stimulating factor (not growth hormome itself, if I remember well). Already an experienced company, with sales and posibly profits, trying to capitalize on the recent strength of the biotech sector, albeit a little late. Ipo performance?, who knows this things fly with the strength of the underwriters, not the company, and the market is tumbling at least for now.
