Unless, of course, you had reference to the usage of the latter 15th century in the Loire Valley, around Blois, I believe. In that case, “frair” would represent a popular regional variant in the evolution of the word.

Now that I think of it, I’m sure that’s what you meant. It will be better this way.

But I’m not totally sure yet, ‘cause I’m suloooooow.
