It's been said from day one that X-Box will not play PC games.

Are you aware of any specific reasons technically, that would disallow the X-box from playing PC games as well? Perhaps they are steering clear of a possible cannibalization of PC gaming? Just curious..... TIA

This makes me extremely interested in how it all will be priced. There is no doubt, that MSFT has to fund a lot of cheap hardware, if they want X-box to become a success, and collect a lot of royalties, which could make the games expensive.

But, on the other hand, there have been even companies giving PCs away.

Maybe the X-box is the real successor of Windows 98 in terms of income...
