Bwiti is a religion not a society. For many years, both Europeans and Africans taking Eboga have realized that the Bwiti religion, whether Mitsogho or Fang, deals with the healing of the spirit. As such, Bwiti constantly re-adapts it's powers to the mythologies and archetypes of whatever culture employs it.

Cameroon is one of the centers of Bwiti, and I have no friends in Cameroon. I do, however, have Egyptian friends and friends in South Africa, as well as Senegal, Cote de Ivorie and Ghana.
