Chic,
<<Apparently the BIG money really is buying the Intel PR.>>

You are just plain wrong here. If the "big" guys really felt AMD's days were numbered, this stock would be NOWHERE near $70 a share. It would be at $30 or lower."

I didn't say the BIG money wasn't buying AMDs story, only not to the extent the are falling for the Intel PR.
Remember, AMD hit a high of 97...it needs to gain 34% to get back there...AMD gets little respect...
Selling at 12 times next years earnings with 100% growth...
something ain't right...

Jim

Chic,

I think BIG MONEY have house traders (Kash class) that asks the question of "What can AMD do for us TODAY?", the answer to that question lately has been "not much, due to lack of chipsets", the focus is on chipsets, all the other good news that will pay off in the near future (1 month out) are ignored, so they keep selling everyday until the answer to the focus question is changed, I guess they mush have heard something today.

Can you imagine how much money AMD could be making everyday if chipsets were in ample supply since June 5th launch of DURON and Tbirds?
