We do need a psychological lift here a la tony viola--a blowout csco quarter next week or a greenspan comment. I am hopeful at this point that he would want to see the market stabilize. After labor day in an election year is a good time for a real rally but i would feel better if the bleeding stopped here.

FWIW, altho I consider myself a VLT investor, I couldn't resist buying some Sept calls. IMO, we're at or near the low point in both price and irrationality.

Needless to say, I've been wrong before about timing; in fact about 50% of the time.
