If the Commies were bad guys threatening the peace and security of Europe, all of our actions were reasonable. I have argued that we had every reason to believe that it was so, and therefore, acting in good faith, behaved reasonably.......

The responsibility is not really an issue. If you have two political systems, one leaning strongly towards individual liberty and the other leaning strongly towards a collective, the two are bound to butt heads.

Overal, the MAD policy worked fairly well. Now, however, it is high time for SDI. I also think we need to arm the Moon. The highest of the "high ground."
