Re:AMD is soaring on no news Scumbria, I wouldn't call 1 billion in y2k profits "no news". Maybe people are starting to wake up to what's going on. And just in time I might add. I had my first ever margin call this morning. If AMD gains 2+ today I don't have to cover. ajb

Comment: AMD, a market leader, led the Nasdaq down, and now appears to be suggesting by its strength today, in its relatively recently acquired leadership role, that the Nas has bottomed somewhere around 3700... By the way, I see AMD is flirting with $74-3/8's, yesterday's high, at the moment...A close today above $74-3/8's would be the third signal of a major reversal and confirm that a new AMD uptrend has begun!!!
