<ot> Hi Tim - I ve given your turnip conspiracy some thought :), while I was watching PBS Newshour [oh, o, my left wing tendency is now exposed <vbg>] and I got a double take when I saw former Fed Governor Larry Lindsay plugging for Dubya in Philly [how I long for a real greasy Philly cheese steak right now!] The counterpoint instinctively arose in me. What if the Street really tried to give the conventeers a [prosperity] leg to stand on. I mean, if the market didn't crash and burn, it would be fairly stupid to promise chicken in every port[folio!] since the chicken was in it already. But then, I just couldn't get the thought out of my mind that part of the reason of the big GDP jump is government spending!

Ahem, back to the stock market. I agree with Zeev that there is a good chance for a blue Monday, but no gut and no glory, I am holding all my positions in the hope of a mid day reversal.

best, Bosco
