Probably not. He is weakening from gusts of 150mph down to 140, though they said on the news here last night there was a chance it may not weaken as much as first thought.
Here is the last report I saw>
World Forecast Summary, July 27: Daniel Weakens! Emilia Wants More!
The Eastern Pacific: Hurricane "Daniel's" weakening trend continues as it passes over slightly cooler ocean waters. Maximum sustained winds are now near 110 mph - with gusts of around 140 mph. It is expected to continue weakening due to sea surface temperatures - and some upper level shearing - which is also forecast. "Daniel" is approximately 1,400 miles East-Southeast of Hilo, Hawaii - and moving West at 18 mph. It could begin affecting the Hawaiian chain as early as Monday - with rain and strong winds.
