Jim,

Despite writing about my option trades, I have a lot more money in common than options. The thing about common is there is nothing to write about. I bought in January through March, and the shares are just sitting there slowly gaining value (except my attempt to daytrade that cost me about $1 per share).

Jim, I hold much more stock than options, but at the peak in early May the options were coming close. Petz

I wish everyone held the stock...especially the option jockeys.

With the recent price dip I sold a lot of my shares and converted the money into January options. I also bought back the covered call I had against my shares. Now I don't have enough shares left to write a covered call against.

Jim,

I'm 100% stock now(talking about AMD stock vs AMD Options), and have been, except for announcement day Call 100s @ around $1 3/4(Expired for $0.00) since I took delivery of my ?May? calls(10) (They are in my prior posts.).

I had around 300 shares going into those calls. I'm very much down in numbers of shares since then having sold at almost every cyclical low since then ;>}.

I've not been into margin since a couple days after the ?MAY? delivery & I don't intend to go there again, but then, there's not much in the account either. The house has me poor right now(and still needs a *TON* of work.

PS -- on the post about durons in my local shop last Tuesday I had it all screwed up.

I went back Thursday to buy some networking stuff & *LOOKED* at it -- as opposed to catching an opinion.

Local shop -- duron 600 $129.00, *NOT $200*. MSI MOBO *NOT EPOX* $200.

Sorry for the screw up last Tuesday.
