I wonder why they did not also say they would consider buying back the 2000 and 1999 Convertible Notes, depending on the discount.

addi, it is about time they started repurchasing shares, they are up 50 million yoy and are diluting eps. However, on the flip side, I haven't seen any discussion of LSI's cash eps which are almost 2x eps. They generated $280 million in cash from operations, that my friend is very impressive. As far as the recent price action, IMHO, the Lemmings have predictably grossly overreacted and have created a buying opportunity.
