AMD says they will come out with 1.1GHz August 28. Within one month, Intel will come out with Willy at 1.3 and 1.4 GHz.

We know Willy volumes won't be great this year, but this does NOT look good.

I guess AMD is sticking to Jerry's line - "bragging rights area great, but revenue rights are better."

I don't think Dresden binsplits were really great initially. If they were, AMD would have released 1.1GHz by now, or on Monday rather than the end of August. Good thing Intel STILL can't get 1GHz in any kind of volume yet...
