McCain would be a horrible president. That's why Bush didn't chose him. Hes tremendously popular, and I am sure you are aware that many feel he should have received the nomination except for the evil republican $$ machine. And as far as this weekend went, McCain played Bush like a fiddle in saying that he would have taken the VP slot - thus allowing Bush to be the fall guy in not picking him. Makes Bush look like a petty squabbler unwilling to share the spotlight with an equal. Had Bush picked McCain he would have been unbeatable, imo.
