Catlady

I use Alta Vista for my second machine and when traveling. I have had very good luck with it. It prolly does track me but I do not know for sure.

Also downloaded and tested blue light... seemed buggy to me.

"an opinion about any of the free ISPs?"

you get what you pay for?

i have 3 isp's and i pay for them all. well, one is free because of reward points on a credit card plan... but they all 'cost' money.

CatLady, I use Juno free occasionally and have had no problems with it. [msn is my regular isp].

I've set up a relative with Bluelight and she is delighted, probably because it's free. :) But Bluelight has another advantage: when you go to one of their 'partner' web sites, the always-on-top ad bar goes away. Yahoo is a partner.
I use Yahoo a lot. So I may try Bluelight on my PC, too.
Bluelight also plays a video ad while you're waiting for it to dial up. I thought Bluelight might be one of the few things Kmart did right.
