What's the post-spin-off values of COMS? To me, COMS at $13 is a great steal. I would price COMS at $25 at least. Why saying so? It's very simple. You may try to find any company currently with a market cap. around $4.5 billion to see how it is priced. For example, let compare COMS with CS, a network company carrying $4.5b market cap. In last quarter, revenues of COMS was $763 millions, but CS has only 275 millions. Let's randomly take one from the markets. How about APCC, a UPS maker with a market cap around $5b, whose price was cut half on Thursday because of a warning. APCC just reported $366 million revenues for last quarter. It was almost 300 millions less than what 3Com got. So, COMS is a no-brainer buy.
