The consensus thinking on Wall Street is that with such rapid economic growth the street figures that Alan Greenspan will have to raise rates by a half point at the August FMOC meeting.

Thus the market has to price the half point increase now.

Even so MFST has held up very well during the recent NASDAQ pull back, it's actually up over 2% the past three days. Where as the QQQ is down over 9% an the semiconductor stocks have absolutely been clobbered this week

John this has got to be the best informative post IMO on how wrong the markets have it. The problem is fear of the FED. It is time for AG to make his "my job is done" statement IMO ! I guess the politicians will look like the heros?
