I don't think you will find any statement from Intel regarding the capacity of their fabs in wafer start numbers.

Sanders does this incessantly however for AMD because of his flagrant inferiority complex - his need to tell Wall Street how mighty and powerful AMD is.

I never said that Fab12 WASN'T 10K wspw. Last I looked, 10K IS greater than 5K.

Isn't it??

Let's just "assume" for a moment, that > 5K means, Oh.... I don't know, let's say about 7.5K. Add on 1/3 for an expansion....

Voila.... do the math, it adds up. By the way, the local newspapers at the time of Fab12's original construction, called it "Intel's Largest Fab", and intel's Israel Fab18 was built AFTER Fab12. I doubt they would make it smaller.

A little piece of info here, and a little piece there.
