Hi UF,

Q! continues to have odd timing on its announcements. Doing this after the close on a Friday guarantees to feed speculation all weekend that it is an important announcement. Yet, if it is something long anticipated like Ford, or God forbid some additional arrangement with G*, it will end up being a dud.

QCOM is always interesting.

As far as price projections, an aggressive e guess for CALENDAR 2003 would be 3 bucks. Of course this is w/o the spin off. Right now we are trading at a 60 pe run rate, and if we sell at that on 1/3/2004, the price will be 204 based on the previous q's .85. Again, this is a flat line pe, and no spin off. Renewed speculation will inflate the pe and we probably get to at least 250 by the end of 2003.

Or maybe not.
